Deyemi Okanlawon Listen ⓘ (born 19 April 1981 in Lagos, Nigeria) is a Nigerian film, television, theatre, and voice actor. [1] He is widely recognized as one of the most dynamic talents in the Nigerian film industry, earning the distinction of being the highest-grossing Nollywood actor of 2020 and 2021, according to the Film One Box Office report.
Ekubo's film debut was a minor role in Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen's Sinners in the House (2005); his first major role was in Ladies Men several years later. [13] He is well known as Johnny after appearing in Yemi Alade's song JOHNNY. He is also known for his roles in other movies as well as television shows. [14]
