Domenico De Marco (December 4, 1936 – March 17, 2022) was an Italian pizza chef, who founded the pizzeria Di Fara Pizza on Avenue J in Brooklyn in 1965. He received national recognition for his restaurant and was considered an artist of pizza in Brooklyn.
Known as the pizza icon of New York, Domenico De Marco knows good food. That's why, nearly 60 years after opening Di Fara Pizza, not much has changed.
Marco Island is a city and barrier island in Collier County, Florida, 20 miles (32 km) south of Naples on the Gulf Coast of the United States. Jacksonville Beach, originally known as Ruby and then as Pablo Beach, grew around the series of luxury hotels built in the area. Further growth was facilitated by the Jacksonville and Atlantic Railroad connecting the town to Jacksonville. Atlantic Beach also grew as a resort community around a large hotel, and smaller hotels were built at Mayport.
In 1924, Thomas Rowe purchased 80 acres (320,000 m 2) of land in St. Petersburg and Pass-a-Grille for $100,000 to begin his dream of building a "pink castle". He hired architect Henry Dupont to design the hotel and Carlton Beard as contractor.
