Thompson Lake is the largest lake in the Little Androscoggin watershed. The north end of the lake overflows into the Little Androscoggin River through the village of Oxford. The lake forms the boundary between Otisfield to the west and Oxford and Poland to the northeast and southeast, respectively. The southern tip of the lake is in Casco.

The Little River is a 7.3-mile-long (11.7 km) [1] tributary of the Androscoggin River in the U.S. state of Maine. It forms the boundary between Sagadahoc and Androscoggin counties. The Little River rises near West Bowdoin at the junction of Fisher Stream and Purington Brook and flows south, joining the Androscoggin River just east of Lisbon Falls .
