Because they know the fanbase will make a mountain of a molehill. So they try to sanitize the content that they show as a result. The worsening quality of feeds is basically self inflicted by the big brother fandom. It’s sad that 25 people on Twitter, who may be bots, have this much control over shit.
Hamsterwatch.com provides (mostly) daily updates, highlighting major moves made that day, and select quotes from conversations, or just random funny moments that add character to the cast. The archives go way back, but her BB6 and BB7 recaps were the best. Rob has a Podcast. On their website or YouTube.

yeah its like bleeping since its live, on the old bb live feeds they use to “cut to fish” whenever they had to cut away from the hg. the house used to a have a real fishtank, but i believe recent seasons they have not because they cant let the fish maintenance people in due to covid. 25. Yes. When I'm working from home and don't have a meeting or something, I turn the feeds on in quad view as background noise. Then I actually watch for a few minutes if I hear something interesting. Yep. Yep just download paramount.
I would assume Big Brother is in this ballpark for the edited show. So let’s assume we see 2% of BB on the edited show. Live feeds probably show us AT LEAST 90%. We can ABSOLUTELY have a very solid understanding of what is truly happening in the house on knowing 90% of what’s going on. While we might not see 100%, Pooch and Paloma are ...
I don't think that they archive feeds, I remember that for a while after BB17 you could go back and rewatch that seasons feeds, but I doubt they would make it available for viewers. There are archives of old feed updates from early BBUS seasons if you dig around. They can't, that would just be a sneaky non-verbal way of strategizing.
Happy watching! Competitions aren’t shown on the feeds other than a few endurance competitions if they last long enough. But the best viewing experience is with the Chrome extension ‘BBViewer’. This just helps with a lot of quality of life type of things when watching the feeds that you wouldn’t get otherwise.
If an HoH is an endurance comp, you usually are able to watch it after the episode airs. Last season it seemed to take about 10-15 minutes before the feeds would come back. Anytime they would have a spot that Julie would talk, they go to fish. It is most likely a money thing. Think about it.
The WHOLE purpose of Big Brother is the live feeds. Without the live feeds, Big Brother becomes a very boring and highly produced reality show. It loses the appeal of the show in the first place. So this is a terrible idea for BBCan and terrible if BBUS tries it.
