Khan Tengri is the highest point in Kazakhstan and third-highest peak in Kyrgyzstan, after Jengish Chokusu (7,439 m) and Avicenna Peak (7,134 m). It is also the world's most northern 7,000-metre peak, notable because peaks of high latitude have a shorter climbing season, generally more severe weather and thinner air.
Peak Talgar (Kazakh: Талғар шыңы Talğar Şyñy; Russian: Пик Талгар, romanized: Pik Talgar) is a northern peak in the Tian Shan mountain range in Kazakhstan, named after Talgar river and city. It is the highest peak of the Trans-Ili Alatau.
Mount Kokshe has an absolute elevation of 947 m. It is situated in the Kazakh Uplands and is the second-highest mountain in the northern part of Kazakhstan, after Mount Akbet (at 1,022 metres (3,353 ft)) which is located in the Bayanaul Range, Pavlodar Region. The relief of the mountain area is spurry-ridgy with narrow rocky watersheds.
Its second-highest peak is known as Khan Tengri, which can be translated as "Lord of the Spirits". [4] At the 2013 Conference on World Heritage, the eastern portion of Tian Shan in western China's Xinjiang Region was listed as a World Heritage Site. [5] The western portion in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan was then listed in 2016. [6]
Jengish Chokusu or Victory Peak [note 1] is the highest mountain in the Tian Shan mountain system in Central Asia at 7,439 metres (24,406 ft). It lies on the China–Kyrgyzstan border between the Ak-Suu District in the Issyk-Kul Region of far Eastern Kyrgyzstan and Wensu County, Xinjiang, China.

The park is a mountainous region of the Western Tian Shan Mountains, on the border with Uzbekistan. Ugam-Chatkal National Park of Uzbekistan is across the border, and Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve of Kazakhstan is directly to the northeast along the border. It is particularly known for stands of juniper forests, and stands of fruit and nut trees.
Aksoran rises in the Kyzylarai, a massif of the Kazakh Uplands (Saryarka). The mountain has a barren look and its slopes are steep, rocky and strongly dissected. With an elevation 1,565 metres (5,135 ft), it is the highest mountain in the Kazakh Uplands, as well as the highest point of Central Kazakhstan.
