Alan Ameche (/ ə ˈ m iː tʃ i /; June 1, 1933 – August 8, 1988), nicknamed "the Iron Horse", or simply "the Horse", was an American football fullback who played for six seasons with the Baltimore Colts in the National Football League (NFL).
George Nelson Tremper High School is a high school located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Part of the Kenosha Unified School District, it was named after George Nelson Tremper, the principal of Kenosha High School from 1911 to 1944. The mascot of Tremper High School is the Trojan. [3]
Bradford died in Kenosha in 1943 at the age of 87. The original high school building was built in 1849 and housed "all the children who attended public school classes in the town, from first grade up" but was deemed inadequate by 1890, and a second iteration of the high school opened in 1891, situated on the site of a former grade school.
