Pergamea is a fictional settlement in the Aeneid, the epic poem written by Virgil between 29 and 19 BC. In Delos, Apollo had delivered them an oracle telling them that they would found a new city in their homeland.

Mnestheus (Ancient Greek: Μνησθεός) is a character from Roman mythology, found in Virgil's Aeneid. He is described by Virgil as the ancestral hero of the Memmii and "Of the house of Assaracus". One of a handful of vaguely defined lieutenants under Aeneas, he appears to be Aeneas's most senior captain, taking charge in Book 9 in his absence.
The Cumaean Sibyl leads Aeneas to the Underworld for his katabasis in the Aeneid. The katabasis of Virgil 's Aeneid occurs in book 6 of the epic. Unlike Odysseus, Aeneas seeks to enter the Underworld, rather than bring the spirits of the dead to him through sacrifice.
Umbro is a valorous (fortissimus) warrior-priest of the Marruvians that appears in Book 7 of Virgil's Aeneid and his role has received significant academic coverage. [1] Dinter reports several interpretations of his role. [2]
