This is the best Civil War combat simulator I’ve seen. MadMinute games has done a good job and has promised to create even better Civil War combat simulators in the near future. If you enjoy gaming, and love the Civil War like I do, you will have a blast playing The Battle of Bull Run!-- Installation: 9 of 10 - No real complaints.
I recently started playing some of my old SPI and Victory games. I had forgotten how well done the old Great Battles of the Civil War by Richard Berg (not Borg) were. Monster games like Terrible Swift Sword, Bloody April and Gleam of Bayonets are a lotta of fun if you have a group of folks to share the record keeping.
You can simply do more damage before the timer runs out or you can sink a few ships/damage a few then retreat. So long as your fleet is in better condition you win. -I thought the graphics were not to bad. -Learning curve, the game doesn't have a tutorial but I still found it easy to pick up and play. Negatives-.

The Petersburg mission is okay but not the best. If you own a Xbox 360 or a PC I would either purchase the game or download it on your PC. The game is OK, but has Bad Graphics and Controls but still is a good FPS Civil War Game, that any Civil War Buff should check out. View attachment 445973
In only my second post here within this wonderful forum, I'd like to plug a mod that I've made (and am in the process of improving upon, spare time permitting, as we speak) for Ageod's Civil War II. I've had a love affair with this game for a number of years now but there were always a few things that I didn't like and/or felt that could be ...

1) a Total War style Civil War game. 2) a game which accurately reflects the strategic/operational/tactical trichotomy. It'd be so much fun to manoeuvre units on the level of weeks and fifty-mile stretches, then do operational manoeuvre on the scale of days and hours and miles to try and create a favourable tactical environment, and finally ...
