The M7, also named Jakes Gerwel Drive (previously Vanguard Drive; renamed on 18 January 2015 [2]), is a limited-access road and metropolitan route in the City of Cape Town, South Africa. It connects Acacia Park with Rocklands on the False Bay Coast via the Cape Flats.
The City of Cape Town (Cape Town metropolitan area) like most South African metropolitan areas, uses Metropolitan or "M" routes for important intra-city routes, a layer below National (N) roads and Regional (R) roads. Each city's M roads are independently numbered.
