Hey Monday is an American rock band from West Palm Beach, Florida, formed in 2008. They released their debut album Hold On Tight in 2008, which produced the singles " Homecoming " and "How You Love Me Now".
The music video for "Homecoming" was directed by Noah Shulman and premiered on the group's Vevo channel October 2, 2009. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] The video was filmed at Asbury Lanes in New Jersey and focuses on a relationship between Pope's character and a former boyfriend, who is revealed to now be dating Pope's friend.
On April 2, 2009, a music video was released for "How You Love Me Now". [6] In April and May, the band supported Fall Out Boy on the Believers Never Die Tour Part Deux in the US. [ 7 ] The band appeared at The Bamboozle festival in early May. [ 8 ]
James left the band at the end of 2009. Hey Monday's first EP Beneath It All was released in August 2010; to promote the album the group toured the US and played on the 2010 Warped Tour. The Christmas EP was released on December 6, 2011, and later that month Hey Monday took an indefinite hiatus on good terms.
