Cheryl Johnson-Odim is an American historian. She worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Northwestern University and Loyola University Chicago. She became dean at Columbia College Chicago and in 2007 was made provost of Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois.
From 1981 to 1983 he was director of the library school at San Jose State University in California. From 1985 to 1989 he worked for the United States Army as chief of library activities at Fort Dix in New Jersey. He then returned to Illinois where he taught on the faculty of Rosary College (now Dominican University) from 1990 through 1996. [1]
