Robinsons Malls is one of the largest shopping malls and retail operators in the Philippines. [1] It was incorporated on September 9, 1997, by entrepreneur John Gokongwei Jr. to develop, conduct, operate and maintain the Robinsons commercial shopping centers and all related businesses, such as the lease of commercial spaces within the compound of shopping centers.

It expanded into supermarkets in 1985, DIY in 1994, convenience stores and specialty stores in 2000, and drugstores in 2012. Robinsons Retail also launched a chain of community malls in 2015. [4]

Robinsons Department Store, as seen from Adriatico Street, was the first part of the mall to be opened in 1980. The Midtown Wing is the expansion of the original mall facing Adriatico Street . It was constructed on the adjacent lot located at the former Manila Midtown Hotel which was demolished to make way for this expansion.
The mall opened on August 13, 2012. It is the 32nd mall opened by Robinsons and the company's third mall in Quezon City. It has a gross floor area of 108,000 square metres (1,160,000 sq ft). Robinsons Magnolia is adjacent to the four-tower Magnolia Residences where the iconic Magnolia Ice Cream production plant once stood. [1]
