Pretty much your only safety concern, IMHO, with the ~30mg dose is copper depletion, and that is trivially addressable with a 2mg or 4mg copper (as glycinate) supplement. I later decreased zinc (as carnosine) to half the dose, i.e. 16mg, purely for maintenance.
