A normal crew was 60 men. AFDL displacement was 1,200 tons and could lift 1,900 tons.
Three vessels used by the US Navy have also borne the name Natchez. The first was USS Natchez (1827), an 18-gun sloop-of-war with a complement of 190 men, built by Norfolk Navy Yard in 1827.
