Albersdorf is a municipality in the district of Dithmarschen, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated near the Kiel Canal , approx. 14 km southeast of Heide . The place was first mentioned in 1281 under the name Aluerdesdorpe , meaning "village of the old custodian."
