It was established as the SCW Southwest Television Championship in 1978 and was renamed in February 1979, and it lasted until the promotion was sold to Texas All-Star Wrestling in 1985, at which point the title was abandoned.

Southwest Legacy High School is a senior high school in San Antonio, Texas, with a Von Ormy postal address. It is a part of the Southwest Independent School District. Financed by a bond passed in 2012, it had a cost of $68 million [1] and has a capacity of 3,200 students. [2] It opened in 2017, [3] on August 28.
South San Antonio ISD received a “No Improvement Required” status for the 2016 school year, and none of its schools received failing ratings. This was the second year in a row for the district. That same year, the district's STAAR results produced a total of 21 TEA distinctions that were awarded to 10 SSAISD campuses.
In 1994, Texas A&M would have won the Southwest Conference title with a 6–0–1 record, but they were ruled ineligible for the conference title and postseason play due to NCAA sanctions. As such, the five teams which finished behind A&M with the same conference record of 4–3 were recognized as co-champions.
