Seattle Reign FC is a professional women's soccer team based in Seattle, Washington, that competes in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), the highest level of women's club soccer in the United States. The 2024 NCAA Division I women's soccer season was the 43rd season of NCAA championship women's college soccer. The season began on August 15, 2024, and culminated on December 9, 2024 with the 2024 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament, with the College Cup being held at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina. All Division I women's soccer programs were eligible to qualify for the tournament. 29 teams received automatic bids by winning their conference tournaments, 1 team received an automatic bid by claiming the conference regular season crown (West Coast Conference doesn't hold a conference tournament), and an additional 34 teams earned at-large bids based on their regular season records.
