Rekhta is an Indian web portal started by Rekhta Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Urdu literature. Rasheed Ahmad Siddiqui is regarded as a major writer of Urdu prose. His sensitivity to the major issues of the subcontinent was remarkable.
