In some cases, the type designation and series number (i.e. FlaK 30) are sufficient to identify a system, but occasionally multiple systems of the same type are developed at the same time and share a partial designation.
This includes prototypes, vehicles produced by neutral countries and vehicles that were not used in combat. AFV projects that were not constructed are omitted, as are un-armoured vehicles. In parentheses are shown the number of vehicles produced, where known, and the countries in which they were constructed.

Elefant (German for "elephant") was a heavy tank destroyer (self propelled anti-tank gun) used by German Panzerjäger (anti-tank units) during World War II.
