The 2019 Marist Red Foxes football team represented Marist College as a member of the Pioneer Football League (PFL) during the 2019 NCAA Division I FCS football season.Led by 28th-year head coach Jim Parady, the Red Foxes compiled an overall record of 4–7 with a mark of 4–4 in conference play, tying for fifth place in the PFL.

The main college offices were also renovated with the same new interior design. In 2020, the college transitioned away from its traditional Latin motto of 'Respice Finem', replacing its past ubiquity on all school material with a slogan describing 'A Daring Faith', 'A Dynamic Education' and a 'Holistic Personhood'.
In the fall of 1981, Marist College added Men's Soccer to its athletic program, joining the existing Marist teams already competing at the Division 1 level. The team achieved immediate success in its first season with a 12-6-1 record.
Marist opened its doors in September 1954, with Brother Leo Sylvius serving as the school's first principal. [9] In 1962, the present campus was acquired to accommodate the school's growth after negotiations led by Brother Leo to acquire land owned by the City of Bayonne, and on April 23, 1964, ground was broken for a new building which would tie together existing buildings on the campus. The Marist Athletic Department including the men's basketball program transitioned up to the Division I level before the 1981–82 season. In response to the competitive landscape the program encountered in Division I for basketball recruits Marist became one of the first college programs to recruit players from overseas.
