An Array is a JavaScript object prototyped from the Array constructor ... A value that is inserted into an empty array by means of the push method occupies the 0th ...
Javascript's Array prototype & Perl's arrays have native support for both removing (shift and pop) and adding (unshift and push) elements on both ends. Python 2.4 introduced the collections module with support for deque objects. It is implemented using a doubly linked list of fixed-length subarrays.
For example, Perl and Ruby allow pushing and popping an array from both ends, so one can use push and shift functions to enqueue and dequeue a list (or, in reverse, one can use unshift and pop), [2] although in some cases these operations are not efficient.
A stack can be easily implemented either through an array or a linked list, as it is merely a special case of a list. [19] In either case, what identifies the data structure as a stack is not the implementation but the interface: the user is only allowed to pop or push items onto the array or linked list, with few other helper operations.
Push the value of field of object (or value type) obj, onto the stack. Object model instruction 0x7C ldflda <field> Push the address of field of object obj on the stack. Object model instruction 0xFE 0x06 ldftn <method> Push a pointer to a method referenced by method, on the stack. Base instruction 0x4D ldind.i
Set a tag array equal to the original array size and initialize to a false value. [Main Sort] Determines whether all buckets of the original array have been sorted. If the sorting is not completed, the [Divide function] is executed. [Divide function] Find the maximum and minimum values in the bucket.
The name "peek" is similar to the basic "push" and "pop" operations on a stack, but the name for this operation varies depending on data type and language. Peek is generally considered an inessential operation, compared with the more basic operations of adding and removing data, and as such is not included in the basic definition of these data ...
Comet is known by several other names, including Ajax Push, [4] [5] Reverse Ajax, [6] Two-way-web, [7] HTTP Streaming, [7] and HTTP server push [8] among others. [9] The term Comet is not an acronym, but was coined by Alex Russell in his 2006 blog post.
