The Cactus Blossoms is an American alternative country and indie folk band based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. [1] The band is composed of brothers Jack Torrey (vocals, guitar , bass ) and Page Burkum (vocals, guitar) with a touring act including Phillip Hicks (bass), Jake Hanson (guitar), and Jeremy Hanson ( drums ).

Electric guitarist Randy Broughten is currently a physical education teacher in Eagan, Minnesota. As well as being a member of the Cactus Blossoms, he has been the steel guitar player for many years with Minneapolis country band Trailer Trash, who are known for their annual Christmas shows and who had a cameo in the mockumentary film Dill Scallion.
On October 1, 2024, guest host Michael Bublé performed the Kellyoke song "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'’" by Journey. This is the second time that a guest host performed at the start of the show for a Kellyoke cover. Staring this season there is a new Cameo-oke feature on the show where guest singers sing the Kelly-oke instead of Kelly.
The 2006 version of Cactus saw original members Appice, Bogert and McCarty reunited and joined by former Savoy Brown frontman Jimmy Kunes on vocals. Randy Pratt joined the band in New York and Sweden on harmonica. The group also released a new album, Cactus V (2006). In 2008, McCarty left the band and was once again replaced by Werner Fritzchings.
