The Dominion of Canada Rifle Association (DCRA) is the national governing body for fullbore target shooting. Established on April 1, 1868, it is one of the oldest sport shooting organizations in the world. The DCRA was incorporated by an Act of Parliament 63-64 Victoria Chapter 99, assented to July 7, 1900.
The Shooting Federation of Canada (SFC; French: Fédération de Tir du Canada (FTC)) is the national governing body responsible for the development and governance of recreational and competitive target shooting in Canada, particularly focussed on ISSF shooting sport disciplines and preparing athletes for competition at the World Championships and Olympic Games.
