Carnegie (/ k ɑːr ˈ n eɪ ɡ i / [3]) is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 8,134 in the 2020 census . [ 4 ] It is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area .
The district covers five square miles, including the Boroughs of Carnegie, Crafton and Rosslyn Farms. From these communities comes the name Carlynton ( Car negie, Ross lyn Farms and Craf ton ). According to 2000 federal census data, it serves a resident population of 15,559.
