My CPU is a Ryzen 3700x mounted on an MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus motherboard and I am slightly concerned about the temperature issue of this CPU. The temperature values in AMD Ryzen Master only with the Firefox browser are around 40-45 degrees and I do not know if that is normal for this cpu, considering that it has an offset type undervolting of ...
27,104. 5,009. 144,340. Apr 19, 2022. Solution. #2. Relatively economical. If you want maximum gaming performance the 5800X3D is the obvious choice. If you have a need for the higher clock speeds of the 5700X or 5800X that is an option.
Aug 4, 2019. #1. A friend of mine recently completed his build with a 3700x and he's having some really weird issues. Basically in more intense games he's getting perfectly normal performance, but in others the cpu is just nosediving in its core frequency. (Like 1-2ghz bad) This obviously causes some big fps drops and stuttering and makes these ...
also, the 3700x is a 65w so its fine. 65w no turbo. 3700x can exceed 100w single core and 165w multi core (which multi core usage is pretty much standard these days), look up power consumption. Adding extra warm ambient, 220w capable cooling from the Noctua or 250w for the Dark Rock Pro 4 would be ideal.
Trent Lehmann said: I was wondering if the ASUS Prime A320M-K is compatible with the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core. Btw i dont know if you need this info but i have a 600w power supply with a msi gtx 1660ti. thank you for your help. It does support it but you have to update its bios to v.4801 or later. You will need a 2nd or 1st gen CPU to do that. 0.
MSI 370x SLI Plus. Key Notes: I have updated my BIOS to the most recent MSI update for Ryzen CPU's. My system worked 100% fine before I installed the 3700x. I have the same spec'd build with a 1700x and had no issues, issues only arrived after the 3700x installation. The amount it runs in windows before crashing or rebooting is varied.
2,661. 62,790. Nov 6, 2020. Solution. #3. Set up BIOS right: cool n quiet, advance c states, processor cppc and cppc preferred cores all ENABLED. In PBO, set it to enabled and MANUAL settings then PPT to 330, EDC and TDC both to 230. You can also put PBO Scalar to 5x or 10x if you're greedy. Also up to 200 Mhz additional boost sometimes helps ...
I use a Coolermaster fan cooler. That's perfectly normal for Ryzen. The temp spikes are an instantaneous reading from hottest one of dozens of sensors when a core boosts from idle. Use Ryzenmaster or HWInfo and you can get an average reading and a better idea of the package thermal state. If fans are also pulsing up in speed just make a custom ...
Ryzen 7 3700x with stock rgb wraith prism cooler. EVGA RTX 3060 XC. 16 GB ddr4 ram 2666mhz. Gigabyte B550 DS3H. EVGA 500w power supply. Reddragon RGB case fans. My user benchmark score was: UserBenchmarks: Game 81%, Desk 81%, Work 80%. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X - 81.7%.
Jul 29, 2019. Solution. #2. In the summer, it is quite common to have 45C idle temps on Ryzen as Ryzen idles hotter than Intel CPUs usually. My 1700X paired with a H100i V2 liquid cooler idles around the 42C range in the summer time. So it makes perfect sense that yours is 45C. Don't worry about it, 45C is way below the 80ish Celsius safe temps ...
