The court record summaries provided by the system are all public records under Wisconsin open records law sections 19.31-19.39 of the Wisconsin Statutes. WCCA was created in response to an increasing number of requests for court records from district attorneys , sheriffs’ departments, and other court business partners.
The present courthouse is the third to serve Racine County. The first, constructed in 1839, was located in the town's market square, today known as Monument Square. [6] Built in a Greek Revival style, [1] [7] the county building was intended to house "a court-house, a jail, and a building for county offices."

Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district comprises areas of northeast Racine County and southwest Milwaukee County. It includes most of the city of Franklin and most of the village of Caledonia. [2] The district is represented by Republican Robert Wittke, since January 2025; Wittke previously represented the 62nd district from 2019 to 2025. [3]
