The Apache helicopters appear to have focused on vehicles streaming back into Gaza from the Nova electronic music festival and nearby kibbutzes, attacked cars with apparent knowledge that Israeli captives could be inside. They also fired on unarmed people exiting cars or walking on foot through the fields on the periphery of Gaza.

Ah yes, the infamous Taliban of the Iraqi mountains! The thing with the Apache is that it is one of only three helicopters in its niche. The other two are the AH-1Z Viper and the MI-28 Havoc. Both suffer from only having been built in small numbers and therefore lack the manufacturing and support infrastructure.

I know where all the jarhead bases are for helicopters but I wanted to know where all the active bases are for Apaches. Also I heard in the Army no one wants to fly the Apache and it is the easiest airframe to get - just wanted to hear people's input. Thanks best of luck to everyone applying.

And you know that with active air defense in Israel because of the attack, all helicopters would prefer not to be taken down by a Patriot Missile They all had their transponders on. If they went dark, they would have been shot down because Israel could not trust a 'dark' bird in the air. So, yup, your information is correct, now apply it correctly.

    www.reddit.com/.../xjiryr/a_real_pilots_impressions_of_the_ah64d_apache_for

The Apache is a bit of an interesting helicopter in DCS. Without doing anything to curves or anything, it flys very strangely. If you need to use the trimmer mode (s), it’s nowhere near what a real helicopter feels like. I have found that with physical flight controls that negate the need for a trimmer (long extensions with minimal springs ...

    www.reddit.com/.../2whf11/what_is_with_the_sexually_identifies_as_an_apache

The "I sexually identify as an Attack Helicopter" comes from people, usually those SJWs, identifying themselves, whether sexually or not, as many different things that seem odd. In this case the copypasta makes fun of it by saying the person identifies as an attack helicopter. This literally triggers me. something about that face just says ...

  11. What's the point of attack helicopters? : r/LessCredibleDefence -...

    www.reddit.com/.../comments/xozyy1/whats_the_point_of_attack_helicopters

Sure helicopters can attack tanks and infantry, but so can fixed-wing aircraft. And there's obviously a lot that fixed-wing aircraft can do that attack helicopters can't. Helicopters are far more vulnerable — bigger, slower, less maneuverable, fly lower, have no stealth capabilities — and they aren't even that much cheaper than fighter jets.
