The Career Center is a high school located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.It offers an extension to the regular high school program. Classes offered include Advanced Placement courses, career, technical education (CTE) courses, English, and classes too small to be held at the regular high schools in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools program, such as Japanese and Chinese.
The inaugural principal when the school opened in 2014, was Dr. Ashlie Thompson. [9] [10] She has since left the position and now serves as an Area Superintendent for Wake County Public Schools in the district that Vernon Malone College and Career Academy is in. [10] The school cost $24.5 million to construct. [9]

Patterson High School is a comprehensive high school with approximately 1200 students, grades nine through twelve. Patterson no longer operates as academies, but instead as a cohort model. Students are divided into cohorts based on their year of expected graduation. Patterson is designated as the Career Center school for Baltimore's East Side.

Beginning with the 2004–2005 school year, the school changed its name to Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School: Center for Leadership and Technology. The name change came with a new initiative on the part of former principal John Modest to encourage students through school activities to develop strong leadership skills. [ 2 ]
Students culminate their schooling with grades 9 through 12 at the Hazleton Area High School, or Academy of Science building. As of the 2023-24 school year, the Hazleton Area School District had 12,609 students and 751 faculty members for a student–teacher ratio of 16.79, according to National Center for Education Statistics data.
