Owen Gingerich (1930–2023): Mennonite astronomer who went to Goshen College and Harvard. He was Professor Emeritus of Astronomy and of the History of Science at Harvard University and Senior Astronomer Emeritus at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory.
