Shiny is a web framework for developing web applications (apps), originally in R and since 2022 in python. It is free and open source. [2] It was announced by Joe Cheng, CTO of Posit, formerly RStudio, in 2012. [3] One of the uses of Shiny has been in fast prototyping. [4] In 2022, a separate implementation Shiny for Python was announced. [5]
Historically, rendering was called image synthesis [6]: xxi but today this term is likely to mean AI image generation. [7] The term "neural rendering" is sometimes used when a neural network is the primary means of generating an image but some degree of control over the output image is provided. [8]
Sixel encodes images by breaking up the bitmap into a series of 6-pixel high horizontal strips. Each 1-pixel-wide vertical column in a particular strip forms a single sixel. Each sixel's pixels are read as binary and encoded into a single 6-bit number, with "on" pixels encoded as a 1.
ImageNet-21k contains 14,197,122 images divided into 21,841 classes. Some papers round this up and name it ImageNet-22k. [29] The full ImageNet-21k was released in Fall of 2011, as fall11_whole.tar. There is no official train-validation-test split for ImageNet-21k. Some classes contain only 1-10 samples, while others contain thousands. [29]
Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink (or dye) onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil.A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen in a "flood stroke" to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact.
One of the earliest electronic displays is the cathode-ray tube (CRT), which was first demonstrated in 1897 and made commercial in 1922. [1] The CRT consists of an electron gun that forms images by firing electrons onto a phosphor -coated screen.
And, 125 years later, people who want to read the Shiny Sheet have options in how they receive the news. Print subscriptions remain a popular option but folks also can get a digital subscription ...
Pretrained text-to-image diffusion models, while often capable of offering a diverse range of different image output types, lack the specificity required to generate images of lesser-known subjects, and are limited in their ability to render known subjects in different situations and contexts. [1]
