Kentucky Route 717 (KY 717) is a 2.977-mile-long (4.791 km) state highway in northeastern Boone County and northwestern Kenton County, Kentucky, that runs from KY 842 and the southbound lanes of Interstate 71 (I-71) and I-75 in northwestern Florence to KY 3076 and Turfway Road in northwestern Erlanger.
KY 236 begins at an intersection with KY 1303 (Turkeyfoot Road) in Edgewood, near the border of Erlanger. The route heads northwest into Erlanger as Stevenson Road, passing through a mixed commercial and residential district. After crossing railroad tracks, the route meets U.S. Routes 25, 42, and 127 (Dixie Highway) in a commercial area.
As with all other Interstate, US, and state highways in Kentucky, I-75 is maintained by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for its entire length. Annual average daily traffic counts in 2022 ranged from a peak of 196,929 vehicles per day concurrent with I-71 at the I-275 interchange in Erlanger to a low of 33,001 vehicles per day from Williamsburg to the Tennessee state line. The route widens into a five-lane road with a center left-turn lane and intersects Richardson Road, at which point the name changes to Turkeyfoot Road. KY 1303 intersects KY 1829 and forms a concurrency with that route. After KY 1829 splits to the west, the road passes through more suburban neighborhoods with some woods, heading into Erlanger.
