The Carabao mango, also known as the Philippine mango or Manila mango among other names, is a variety of particularly sweet mango from the Philippines. [1] It is one of the most important varieties of mango cultivated in the Philippines. The variety is reputed internationally due to its sweetness and exotic taste.

Mangifera indica, commonly known as mango, is an evergreen [3] species of flowering plant in the family Anacardiaceae. [4] It is a large fruit tree, capable of growing to a height and width of 30 m (100 ft). [5] There are two distinct genetic populations in modern mangoes – the "Indian type" and the "Southeast Asian type". [6]
Common mammals include the wild hog, deer, wild carabao, monkey, civet cat, and various rodents. There are about 196 breeding species of birds, among the more numerous being the megapodes (turkey-like wildfowl), button quail, jungle fowl, peacock pheasant, dove, pigeon, parrot, and hornbill.
Carabao milk is richer and creamier in texture than cow or goat milk, due to its much higher fat and protein content. It has similar mineral content as cow milk, except it has twice as much phosphorus. It is characteristically bluish-white in color. Carabao milk is typically home-pasteurized via a double boiler.
