Daniel Eugene Spivey (born October 14, 1952) is an American retired professional wrestler best known under the ring names "Dangerous" Dan Spivey, Dangerous Dan, The Left Hand Man, Danny Spivey, Mr. America, and Waylon Mercy, initially working under the name Starship Eagle.
He returned to the WWF in 1995 under the name Waylon Mercy, this time with jet black hair, and ended up retiring later in the year. In between his WCW stint and second WWF stint as Mercy he competed in All Japan Pro Wrestling, winning the World Tag Team Championship once with another early 1990s WCW figure, Stan Hansen.
Spivey would wrestle in World Championship Wrestling (reuniting with Rotunda for a time as a member of Kevin Sullivan's Varsity Club in 1988–1989) and returned to World Wrestling Federation as Waylon Mercy in 1995. He retired from wrestling that year.
