The school re-branded the sixth form as "FCAS" (Frogmore Centre for Advanced Studies) in 2005, but disbanded after only two years, [1] forcing a partnership with The Sixth Form College, Farnborough. The college still runs adult learning through the University of the Third Age .
The partnership was formed in 1997, under the name the Hampshire Sixth Form Colleges' Partnership. The name was changed to reflect the membership of Southampton and Portsmouth colleges, which are not in the Hampshire County Council area.

The college was established on 22 June 1945 under Basant Singh Asumal College of Commerce & Economics, and was inaugurated by Rao Bahadur Seth Shivrattan G. Mohatta. The college was taken under the supervision of the Government of Sindh in 1948 after the establishment of Pakistan. The current building of the college was constructed in 1967. [4]
