Marked Tree is a city in Poinsett County, Arkansas, United States, along the St. Francis River, at the mouth of the Little River. The population was 2,286 at the 2020 census. It is included in the Jonesboro, Arkansas, metropolitan statistical area. Geologically, the area marks the southern end of the New Madrid Fault. [citation needed]

The Marked Tree Lock and Siphons are a flood control facility on the St. Francis River in Poinsett County, Arkansas. These facilities are located about 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Marked Tree . Built in 1926, the lock is located on a now disused and partially filled artificial channel west of the main river.
