Christ Lutheran School is a PreK3-8th grade school of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod in Big Bend. [8] [9] The village is also part of the Mukwonago Area School District. Big Bend Elementary School, [10] within the village limits, serves grades K-6. Older students go to Parkview Middle School and Mukwonago High School. [11]
Stoughton is served by the Stoughton Area School District, [28] which covers most of southeastern Dane County as well as a small portion of Rock County. SASD operates three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. There is no higher education in the city, but a UW science lab operates in rural Stoughton on Schneider Road.
