Dougherty–Prospect Heights Historic District is a national historic district located at Liberty, Clay County, Missouri. It encompasses 139 contributing buildings in a predominantly residential section of Liberty.
Liberty is located approximately six miles north of the Missouri River along I-35 and Missouri Route 291. [ 13 ] According to the United States Census Bureau , the city has a total area of 29.15 square miles (75.50 km 2 ), of which 29.03 square miles (75.19 km 2 ) is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 km 2 ) is water.

Liberty Township today covers an area of 38.45 square miles (99.6 km 2), and while containing no incorporated towns, does include the unincorporated settlements of Hatton and Concord. The township includes one cemetery, named Concord, plus the streams of Fourmile Branch and Leeper Branch which are tributaries of Auxvasse Creek to the south.
The Clinton House is a historic home located at Liberty, Clay County, Missouri at 404 S. Leonard Street. It was built in 1875 in the Italianate Asymmetrical style. The house consists of a two-story polygonal wing attached to a rectangular wing.
