Robert Lawrence Welch Jr. (August 31, 1945 – June 7, 2012) was an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter who was a member of Fleetwood Mac from 1971 to 1974. He had a successful solo career in the late 1970s.
Just like Welch's previous effort French Kiss, Three Hearts was a commercial success. The album reached number 20 on the US charts in 1979 and went gold. [2] It spawned a hit single, "Precious Love", which peaked at number 19, making it Welch's last top 20 hit. "Church" was also a small hit, and peaked at number 73. [3]
