yep especially before lo. turned 12 months antibiotics always did this to them just double layer the cream and change more often for the next while
Hi ladies. My 2 1/2 year old has additional needs so potty training isn’t an option for us. We have never had an issue with nappy rash until recently. He is sometimes pooing 3 times a day (I think it’s his teeth) and the nappy rash is so bad that he has even had a bit of bleeding from it.
We had a really persistent diaper rash. It wasn't terrible, but it just wouldn't go away. Our pediatrician's office told us to wipe with cloth wipes and water as much as possible (or water wipes) because the normal disposable wipes leave a layer of bacteria on baby's skin that prevent it from clearing up.
Before I start this post, I am going GP Monday with her as it doesn’t seem to be improving much but I just want others opinions/view. My 2 year old has this bad nappy type rash for the last maybe 2 weeks. Gets a bit better and then worse again. It’s on the vulva area, red type spots and they bleed sometimes. She’s itching at her nappy also.
Toddler broken out with bad nappy rash. Excessive drooling. Slight raise in temperature. Soft stools. I’ve seen a lot of comments about HFM but the only thing is his bum and one spot on his leg. Inside of mouth seems fine. Could this be from canines that are about to come through ? We’ve done no nappy for two days (tomorrow will be day 3)

Try and leave nappy free for a while too if possible. I also found with a recurring rash I used canesten thrush cream and it really helped. What worked best then was to prevent the rash by using only water wipes and always drying well after wiping with a muslin cloth and lathering on a really thick layer of bepanthen as a barrier.
T. THM-9. Jun 21, 2019 at 7:09 AM. Baking soda in the bath water will clear it up very very quickly, followed with diaper cream. You may also consider trying a different brand diaper. Pampers give my babies rashes. Like. m. mja27.
