Referencing post #7: I do know that some places prefer the furniture in close-to-new condition. Depending on condition and if no other place will take it, leave it out by the curb on the afternoon before scheduled garbage collection.
The rest of our furniture arrives the 29th, so the bed has to be gone by then. I'd like to donate these, but am not sure who will pick up large furniture items like sofas and beds. (My wife won't drive hauling a uhaul, and I don't drive.) Alternately, anyone that wants it can come by and pick it up, just bring a uhaul and load it.
We just donated a sofa and loveseat to Our Mothers Attic in Wildwood. They work with St. Vincent de Paul Catholic church. Their donations are sold and the proceeds used for local charities. We thought it was a worthwhile cause. Their number is 352-689-0128 and yes, they do pick up.
Please contact the service provider directly to schedule pick-up of bulk items. Their office is open Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (excluding holidays) at 352- 748-0109
