A giant spider from J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium. She appears at the end of the fourth book, second volume (The Two Towers) of The Lord of the Rings. She is said to be a child of Ungoliant. Sergeant Stinkbug Stinkbug: Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot vs. the Stupid Stinkbugs from Saturn: Dav Pilkey: The main antagonist of the book.
The book is a diary written by a spider. The diary has things such as pictures of Spider's family, a picture of his favorite book, a discovery of a sculpture, and a playbill from the school's production of "Itsy Bitsy Spider". There is also a slight storyline about Spider's friendship with Fly and Grampa hating bugs with six legs.
Paramount released a direct-to-video sequel, Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure, in the US in 2003. Universal Home Entertainment Productions released the film internationally.
