The Florida State University College of Applied Studies was established in 2010 at Florida State University's Panama City branch campus. [1] It is intended to meet the higher educational needs of northwest Florida residents on a more accessible regional campus. [2] The college can provide instruction at the undergraduate and graduate level.
While FAMU has over 13,400 applications for fall 2024 compared to 12,905 at this time last year, over 22,000 applications have been submitted to FSU.

The 2024 Florida State Seminoles football team represented Florida State University in the Atlantic Coast Conference during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season, entering the season as the defending ACC champion. The Seminoles were led by Mike Norvell, who was in his fifth year as their head coach.
