The issue is happening with all of the remotes that I have. Two are XFinity provided (one XR11 and one XR15) and one is the remote that came with my Sony TV (the one we use most often). The box does not respond to any of the remotes (like trying to hit the 'continue' button on screen) - there is no way I have found to get past this.

Usually in most cases, the remote would already be paired or be able to auto-pair during first use. My Xfinity remote voice command just stopped working out of the blue. I have been trying to pair my new TCL Fire tv with the xfinity xr15 remote. I van get voice controls, channel up/down and guide to work but can’t get volume and power to work. Hello, @user_6ac190 have you checked the battery level on your remote? Press the Xfinity Button on your remote and click on the gear symbol. Then scroll down to "Remote Setting". In most cases when the voice command fails to respond the batteries are low.
