Trusted Travelers - Global Entry Walk-In Interviews - Ok, so here's an update. I got my conditional approval on Friday, September 1 2017, and tried to get appointments at Hartford (BDL). Initial appointment was only available in Feb 2018, but I checked and rechecked and got one in October 2017, then in late September
Trusted Travelers - Global Entry Walk-In Interviews - Keep checking the website since appointments open up frequently. If only 1 of you find an appointment, the other will most likely be able to do a walk up at the same time.
Join Date: Feb 2014. Posts: 3. Global Entry - Interview Availability. It looks like they have increased the number of hours for Global Entry interview appointments in Austin, presumably to reduce the backlog. When I first signed up for an appointment, the first available was in January 2015.
Trusted Travelers - Global Entry Walk-In Interviews - Just finished off my interview in ORD. Had no appointment, walked in around 3p on a Saturday, got called at 3:30p, was done after 15 minutes. Very friendly and helpful staff. There were around 15 people waiting in the room, it seems like most of them had interviews

This page includes a checkbox you can use to show locations with the soonest availability, although they tend to be few in number and near border towns.

Some prefer 3 pm shift walk in instead of 7 am shift. If you plan to wait for a long time, it may be cheaper to park at Millbrae BART station and take BART into SFO.
