This template is the project banner for WikiProject History of Science.. The template is to be placed on talk pages (only) of the articles identified as being within the Project's scope (basically anything to do with the histories of science, technology, and medicine, as well as science studies, STS, etc.).
Note: The headings listed in the template are representative, and not authoritative. If a scientific category not in the template (such as geology or computer science) deserves inclusion in a given year, add a heading for it. Likewise, if there are no known significant advances in one of the template's categories, that heading can be removed.
This is a sub directory of WikiProjects that deal with science, technology, and engineering. WikiProjects marked with a green background are currently active, while those with a gray background are not. Task forces of large projects are marked with a blue background.
This can be used for more maintenance-oriented projects to use terms like "development and maintenance" or whatever. If even the "information and articles about this topic" wording doesn't really fit the project (e.g. an anti-vandalism effort, or some other entirely internal project), the text will need to be manually adjusted later.
