The Romania men's national basketball team (Romanian: Echipa națională de baschet a României) represents Romania in international basketball competition. The team is administered by the Romanian Basketball Federation (FRB). Romania has qualified for the EuroBasket 18 times throughout their history.

The Romanian Basketball Federation (FRB) (Romanian: Federația Română de Baschet) is the governing body of basketball in Romania. It was founded in 1931, and they became members of FIBA in 1932 as co-founders. The Romanian Basketball Federation operates the Romanian men's national team and Romanian women's national team.
At least five former Romanian players have been inducted into the European Basketball Hall of Fame. Gheorghe Mureșan – initially signed in 1993 with the Washington Bullets and played six seasons in the NBA. He was the tallest player in the league and averaged 9.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 0.5 assists.
