The American Equestrian Trade Association (AETA) was a not-for-profit (501-C6) trade organization founded in 2007. Association membership consisted of 370 organizations involved with manufacturing, distribution and retailing of products for horses and riders. Sadly, the organization no longer exists.
Lemieux is a French surname originating from Normandy and it has been traced from Rouen in the 1600s to earlier origins on the Cotentin peninsula. [1] According to the website "Les familles Lemieux d'Amerique" ("The Lemieux families of America") the North American Lemieux are descended from two half-brothers, Pierre and Gabriel, who emigrated from Rouen, France, to Quebec in 1643. In 2017, USEF rebranded to US Equestrian under the new President, Murray Kessler, launching the new campaign "Discover the Joy of Horse Sports."
