Lynn Davies, indoor and outdoor Welsh record holder in the long jump with leaps of 8.23 outdoors and 7.97 indoors respectively. Lynn remains as the only athlete to win Olympic gold in track and field since his win in the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
