The Asian Beach Games, also known as ABG, is a multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia. The Games have been organized by the Olympic Council of Asia . The Games are described as the second or third largest Asian multi-sport event, after the Asian Games .
The draw of the tournament was held on 19 December 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. [3] [4] The 16 teams were drawn into four groups of four teams.The teams were seeded according to their performance in the 2023 AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup, with the hosts Thailand automatically seeded and assigned to Position A1 in the draw.
