Alexi Laiho (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈɑleksi ˈlɑi̯ho]; born Markku Uula Aleksi Laiho; [1] 8 April 1979 – 29 December 2020) [2] was a Finnish guitarist, composer, and vocalist.

According to Children of Bodom frontman Alexi Laiho, "Blooddrunk" concerns "self-destructive behaviour", [1] and "being addicted to spilling your own blood". [2] Laiho felt that he had hurt himself "more than ever" over the course of a two-year period (between 2005–2007), and arrived at the conclusion that he was addicted to hurting himself "so bad". [3]
The name of the album and its title track was conceived by Alexi Laiho after an alcohol-related injury. The article states his name as Markku Uula Aleksi Laiho. Is there a proof for that? Everybody could come up with any names. The Local Band is a Finnish hard rock supergroup formed in 2013. The band got its start when Children of Bodom's Alexi Laiho and The 69 Eyes' Jussi 69 expressed interest in playing some of their favorite songs together. [1]
